GetFlightInfo from MyWay is a browser extension, added to the browser without the user's knowledge. Once it has infected a web browser, it will reset the homepage and the default search engine to http://search.myway.com.

What is GetFlightInfo?

GetFlightInfo is a dangerous browser extension, from MyWay. It happens to be on the web browser by breaching the firewall of the computer. This browser extension usually ends up on a computer via "bundling," a process used to infect a computer using a freeware program. A potentially unwanted program with the same name created to weaken the security of a computer, this PUP would install the extension forcefully on the computer without the user's consent. You could never remember approving it on your toolbar. But, the damage has been done it is already there. And it is the PUP program you can thank for all that is happening on your computer which came bundled with the free program you decided to download and install off the internet. Once the PUP is on the computer, be prepared for the consequences. This would make way for the infections by weakening the security of your computer, which would later flood the PC with infections. And later someday you find a new extension added on the toolbar of your web browser. Now, this extension would redirect all your searches to http://search.myway.com.
